One of the most aggravating things about the modern music industry is not only the fact that the economy of middlemen make more money than the musicians, but that musicians are still expected to release music in the same format and structure that was coupled with physical mediums (e.g. a 3-5 minute long single, a 3-4 song EP, a 10-15 song album that is under 80 minutes in length).
I’ve made the personal decision to challenge this structure, and I’m excited to see how it ultimately fares in comparison to the big-tech-adoption era of the music economy.
